Doctor Who 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 1
Anybody else watching Doctor Who season four? I'm about four episodes from the end--so NO SPOILERS--and I'm really enjoying it.

Being the Dr Who fanatic around here (been watching it all my life) I can honestly say that season 4 has been the best season yet. David Tennant has moved into first place on my list of best Doctors. HE has de-throned the great Tom Baker.

I cannot wait to see what Steven Moffet does once he takes over the show-running duties in 2010. Steven Moffet is responsible for the best episodes of the new Dr Who we have seen. He is responsible for the following episodes:

The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances from Season 1
The Girl in the Fireplace from season 2
Blink from Season 3
The Silent Library and Forest of the Dead from Season 4

He also wrote the very cool Children in Need special called Time Crash. You can watch it on youtube here:

I had my doubts about the 4th series, but then Catherine Tate really started to come on as a character. And the episode "Midnight" is one of the best I've ever seen.

As I understand it, BBC is planning to really muck with our continuity next series, though, especially Torchwood.

From what I have read, Torchwood is only going to be a 6 episode mini-series this season that will lead to Capt. Jack Harness leaving Torchwood.

Doctor Who will be four, 90 minute specials this coming season.

A recent story in the UK is claiming that David Tennant is close to signing a mega million deal to do a 5th season of Doctor Who (Would be Moffat's first season as show-runner).

I just saw the last four episodes of season four last night. Damn! That's a lot of stuff to process. Originally I was sad to hear that Russell T. Davies was leaving as show-runner, but after he [DELETED FOR POSSIBLE SPOILERS], I felt a sense of closure. I'm ready for Moffett to take over now, and am confident he'll do a great job.

(Though will every episode now start with a mysterious girl who's somehow connected to the Doctor, running into the Doctor in a scene that is out of chronological order? Since that's how Girl in the Fireplace, Blink, and the Silent Library all start? But I kid, Steven Moffett, because I love.)

Like everyone else, I love David Tennant. And Catherine Tate as Donna. [REST OF THIS POST DELETED FOR POSSIBLE SPOILERS.]

Uh,

You did realize that the two-part finale has not yet aired in the U.S., didn't you? I know what happens, but...
