Of course he is going to tell you everything came out roses. That is his job. He needs to hype up Archon and DieCon to keep people coming back. Now I'm not saying that Jon is out and out lying to you, but he does have to paint a positive picture of events.

Here is how it was explained to me...

Basically, there is a NaSFic organization/Corporation/Whatever that Archon had to pay a set fee to be able to hose NaSFic. Well, they took the normal Archon attendance and based the attendance fee on that. Well, when the attendance was way down last year (and there is simply no refuting that) they took a bath because they still had to pay the full fee for hosting NaSFic.

Anyway, I guess we will just have to agree to disagree, but they are not rumors they are facts.
