Ian (and any other QAGS players from Marcon)

How did your games go? I believe you said you had two games go off?

Marcon was a much smaller convention this year than last. Opinion in the con suite was that the price of gas had determined folks to stay home and save their money for other events, but also Barfleet did not descend in force to run their traditional room parties, and there was a major SCA event opposite the con. Nonetheless, two of my three games did go off.

In Fratboys vs. Velociraptors the players came up with a inspired new way to defeat the mutated- into-velociraptor sorority chicks. I love these players.

In Fairy Tale Noir the Wolff and Frogg Detective Agency (Big Bad Wolf and Frog Prince, with their muscle/archiegoodwin Albrecht the Woodsman and Foxy Roxie, a ninja hooker a la Sin City) figured out the whole caper of who killed Papa Bear in the penthouse at the Palace, exonerate their client Cinderella, rake in the big bonus by proving infidelity on his part, and basically having a hellaciously funny time. This idea works way to well to let drop.

Oh, and Roxie gets my vote for most inspired player of the con because she wandered past once, making the Grand Tour of the gaming room, and then came back to tell us that she had no idea what were were doing but it sounded much more interesting than anything else going on. Her name is Jacqueline and she lives in Columbus. I gave her my contact information so we'll see if she gets back in touch with me--or comes to Origins.

Torchwood did not go off. Pity. But I'm planning to bring it to Archon and see if it flies there.

Ian, I will definitely be in on your Torchwood game depending on the time slot. With everything going on this year I think I will be attending Archon in a gamer capacity. I'll certainly help out with any odd things you guys may need (food runs as I will have a car; work the booth; set up; all that kind of stuff).

I'm putting the "sensual" back in non-consensual.
