As you can tell from its new spot at the top of the New Releases column, Hedge Magic is now shipping. It should be to distributors by Wednesday, and in stores next week, most likely.

Battle of the Geeks: Special Edition

So, my as-yet one-sided Battle of the Geeks with John has apparently inspired some of our most loyal Ars Magica fans! The Atlas Forums have become the location of a "who's the geekiest" contest of their own. The current frontrunner is Tim Goldbeck from Germany. And the photo he posted is proof postitive of his uber-gamer geekiness ...

MSU Makes Games 100!

Each year since 1980, GAMES Magazine has published a Buyer's Guide to Games in their year-end holiday issue. Except for once or twice in the early 1980s, the article has listed and reviewed one hundred games each year, and was thus dubbed The GAMES 100.

I'm pleased to announced that our own Mad Scientist University made this year's Games 100 list as Best Party Game Nominee. You can view the full list here (MSU is on page 9). Congratuations to designer Zachary Anderson and artist Steven Sanders!

City and Guild: Sold Out

The latest Ars Magica sourcebook to sell out is City and Guild. The last half dozen copies I had in the warehouse were shipped to a distributor earlier this week. As usual, it should be available from various wholesalers and stores for a while yet as they sell down their stock.
